Installation operations
- Keep the approved production environment and database configuration.
- Run versioned Core and Laravel infrastructure migrations without destructive reset.
- Run the idempotent CoreFoundationSeeder.
- Create the first Super Admin and assign the system Super Admin role.
- Persist company and regional defaults in centralized System Settings.
- Write the installation lock and disable destructive setup routes.
Data-preserving installation
The installer never runs migrate:fresh and does not purge an existing compatible database. Normal installation and later updates are data-preserving.
Installation security
The commercial installer follows the same Core security boundaries as the rest of RJC Equipment CRM.
The Super Admin password is hashed before it enters installer state.
Persistent timestamps remain UTC; timezone is a display setting.
A private installation lock prevents browser reinstallation after success.
Setup creates security and audit events without recording secrets.
